Last summer was our 10 year wedding anniversary so we decided do a staycation in New York City. We've always enjoyed our stay in the city because there are so many things to do in the city that never sleeps.
Because it was our 10 year anniversary, we decided to treat ourselves and stayed at St. Regis. The hotel was beautiful and the service was superb! The staff were friendly and helpful in every way throughout our entire stay.
After check in, we quickly unpacked and head over to one of my favorite restaurants, Joe's Shanghai, for dinner and had their famous soup dumplings. Of course, we were all so hungry that I completely forgot to take some pictures.
The next morning, we decided to order room service as a special anniversary gift and their breakfast was delicious!! We all enjoyed it so much and the bacon strips are amazing!!!
During our stayed, we visited New York Aquarium, Bronx Zoo, Central Park Zoo and Tisch Children's Zoo. I would definitely recommend to visit these places if you have little ones...they will love it! They even get to feed the sheep, goats, and llama in the Tisch Children's Zoo.
Our new find on this trip was The Plaza Food Hall, right under The Plaza Hotel. We tried Luke's lobster roll, lobster tail and clam chowder, then we bought my favorite dessert - Mille Crepes from Lady M. We got a slice of Signature Mille Crepes and a slice of Green Tea Mille Crepes. As you can see, my husband and daughter loved them.
Of course, our stay wouldn't be completed without visiting Benihana. My daughter definitely love the volcano. Do make reservation when you decide to visit because they are always busy.
So here are my favorite things to do and restaurants to dine in when I visit. I know there are a lot more but I only wanted to share those that I had visited.
Things to do:
